Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs and mix well, then stir in the apple butter and milk.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Spread half of the remaining apple butter over the batter, then add the rest of the batter on top.
  8. Swirl the remaining apple butter into the top layer of batter with a knife.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
