- 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 slices of bacon
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
- Place the wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
