Description

A festive dessert combining rich chocolate cheesecake, tart cranberry sauce, and crunchy pecans in a delightful trifle.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding
  • 2 cups cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 package of ladyfinger cookies

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and Baileys Irish Cream, mixing until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. In a trifle dish, layer ladyfinger cookies at the bottom.
  6. Add a layer of chocolate pudding over the cookies.
  7. Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on top of the pudding.
  8. Add a layer of cranberry sauce followed by a sprinkle of chopped pecans.
  9. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the cream cheese mixture on top.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute Baileys with chocolate syrup.
  • Can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
