Description

Baileys Chocolate Truffles are a decadent treat combining rich chocolate and the smooth flavor of Baileys Irish Cream, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 cup cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate, stirring until melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the Baileys Irish Cream until well combined.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours, or until firm.
  5. Once firm, use a melon baller or spoon to scoop out small portions and roll them into balls.
  6. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or chopped nuts to coat.
  7. Place the truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, try using milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate.
  • These truffles can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Make sure to let the truffles sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for the best texture.
