  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the sauce.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar, mozzarella, blue cheese, and Parmesan until melted and smooth.
  7. Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce and mix well.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
