Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in milk until a dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
  6. Place a slice of roast beef and cheese on half of the circles.
  7. Top with remaining circles and seal the edges.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. In a saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder; heat until warm.
