- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the bars are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Once the bars are cool, spread the cream cheese frosting on top.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the batter.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
