Description
A quick and flavorful Bang Bang Salmon recipe that combines sweet, spicy, and savory elements for an unforgettable culinary experience.
Ingredients
- Salmon fillets (4, 6 oz each)
- Mayonnaise (1/4 cup)
- Sriracha (2 tablespoons)
- Honey (1 tablespoon)
- Rice vinegar (1 tablespoon)
- Soy sauce (1 tablespoon)
- Sesame oil (1 teaspoon)
- Green onions (2, thinly sliced)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven’s broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and to prevent the salmon from sticking.
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, Sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and soy sauce until the sauce has a smooth consistency. Stir in the sesame oil, and let the flavors meld.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. With the pastry brush, coat them generously with the Bang Bang sauce, ensuring both sides are well covered.
- Broil the salmon for 8-10 minutes, or until it’s cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Keep an eye on it for caramelization.
- Once done, garnish with sliced green onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
Prepare the Bang Bang sauce a day in advance for convenience. You can also cook using an air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes.
