Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • Ice cubes (as needed)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the mixed berries, banana, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Add chia seeds and blend until smooth.
  3. If desired, add ice cubes and blend again until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey/maple syrup.
  • For a thicker smoothie, use frozen berries or add more ice.
  • Feel free to substitute almond milk with any other milk of your choice.
