- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon thyme
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
- Brown the chicken thighs on both sides, then remove from the skillet.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the rice and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and reduce heat to low.
- Simmer for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and rice is tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
