- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine blackberries, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, chipotle peppers, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
- Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the blackberries break down and the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Blend the sauce until smooth, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
