Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb steak, cut into strips
- 2 tbsp blackening seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with half of the blackening seasoning.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat and add the shrimp; cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and the steak strips; season with the remaining blackening seasoning and cook to desired doneness, about 3-4 minutes for medium-rare. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer; stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta, shrimp, and steak to the sauce; toss to combine and heat through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste; garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the level of blackening seasoning according to your spice preference.
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a non-dairy alternative.
- Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
