Description

A rich and flavorful dish combining blackened steak, shrimp, and creamy Alfredo sauce served over pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb steak, cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp blackening seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with half of the blackening seasoning.
  3. In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat and add the shrimp; cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and the steak strips; season with the remaining blackening seasoning and cook to desired doneness, about 3-4 minutes for medium-rare. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer; stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Add the cooked pasta, shrimp, and steak to the sauce; toss to combine and heat through.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste; garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of blackening seasoning according to your spice preference.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a non-dairy alternative.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
