Ingredients

  • 4 cups Fresh Broccoli florets
  • 6 slices Smoked Bacon
  • 1 cup Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Almonds
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bacon: Cook the smoked bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then place it on paper towels to drain excess grease before chopping it into small pieces.
  2. Combine fresh ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, toss the chopped broccoli, crispy bacon, slivers of red onion, and sliced almonds.
  3. Create the dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  4. Toss it all together: Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture, and toss gently to coat everything evenly.
  5. Chill before serving: Place the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes
