Description

Deliciously crunchy on the outside with a melting, savory cheese and spicy chicken filling, perfect for game day or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese, cut into cubes
  • 6 slices Cooked Bacon, crumbled
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 2 large Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, crumbled bacon, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Fold in the cubes of mozzarella cheese, ensuring each piece is coated.
  3. Take about 2 tablespoons of the mixture, flatten it in your hand, and place a cube of mozzarella in the center, then wrap the mixture around it to form a ball.
  4. Set up a dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Dredge each bomb in flour, dip in the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pot. Fry the bombs for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Transfer the bombs to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Let cool before serving.
  7. Serve warm with dipping sauces like ranch or extra buffalo sauce.

Notes

Prepare the filling a day ahead and store it in the refrigerator. Optionally, bake or air fry for a healthier alternative.
