Description

Deliciously creamy butter pecan cheesecake bars with a buttery crust and a rich pecan topping.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish to form the crust.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  7. In another bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, and heavy cream.
  8. Spread the pecan mixture over the cheesecake layer.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
  10. Allow to cool before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use toasted pecans.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
