Description

Candy Corn Panna Cotta is a delightful and festive dessert that captures the essence of Halloween with its vibrant colors and sweet flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Yellow food coloring
  • Orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture is hot but not boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin and vanilla extract until fully dissolved.
  4. Divide the mixture into two bowls. In one bowl, add yellow food coloring to achieve a bright yellow color. In the other bowl, add orange food coloring to achieve a vibrant orange color.
  5. Pour the yellow mixture into serving glasses, filling them about one-third full. Refrigerate for about 1 hour until set.
  6. Once the yellow layer is set, pour the orange mixture on top, filling the glasses to the rim. Refrigerate for another 2-3 hours until fully set.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy your festive Candy Corn Panna Cotta!

Notes

  • For a more intense flavor, consider adding a splash of almond extract.
  • Make sure to let each layer set before adding the next to prevent mixing.
