Description

Caramel Pecan Sticky Buns are a deliciously sweet and sticky treat, perfect for breakfast or dessert. These buns are topped with a rich caramel sauce and crunchy pecans, making them irresistible.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually add flour and knead until a soft dough forms.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough and spread brown sugar and chopped pecans on top.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  7. Place the slices in a greased baking dish and pour caramel sauce over them.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
