Description

A rich and decadent dessert combining creamy cheesecake, caramel, pecans, and a chocolate crust, perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in sour cream until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust, then drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the remaining cheesecake batter on top and smooth the surface.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  8. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature for a smoother batter.
