- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until fully cooked.
- Stir in the milk, beef broth, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked macaroni and 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese to the skillet, mixing well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs mixed with melted butter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
