Description

A delicious and comforting dish that combines the flavors of a cheeseburger with creamy macaroni and cheese, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until fully cooked.
  4. Stir in the milk, beef broth, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the cooked macaroni and 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese to the skillet, mixing well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs mixed with melted butter.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
