Description

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread (preferably sourdough or Italian)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Slice the loaf of bread in a crisscross pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  4. Drizzle the garlic butter mixture generously into the cuts of the bread.
  5. Stuff the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into the cuts of the bread.
  6. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, then unwrap and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
