Description

A refreshing and vibrant cherry sorbet that captures the essence of summer in every scoop.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water over medium heat, stirring until dissolved.
  2. Cool down: Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
  3. Blend it smooth: Combine cherries, cooled mixture, and lemon juice in a blender until smooth.
  4. Freeze and stir: Pour into a shallow dish and freeze, stirring every 30 minutes for 2-3 hours.
  5. Serve and savor: Scoop into bowls and enjoy immediately, garnished with mint or lime zest if desired.
