Description

A deliciously satisfying sandwich featuring grilled chicken, creamy avocado, and melted cheese, all encased in crispy bread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Grilled Chicken Breasts, Sliced
  • 1 Ripe Avocado, Mashed
  • 4 Slices of Cheese (Cheddar or Your Choice)
  • 4 Slices of Bread (Whole Grain or Sourdough)
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Butter (for Grilling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread mashed avocado on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer sliced grilled chicken and cheese on half of the bread slices.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Top with the other slices of bread, avocado side down.
  6. Butter the outside of the sandwiches.
  7. Grill on the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  8. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prep the grilled chicken in advance. Possible substitutions for the chicken can include turkey or grilled vegetables for a vegetarian option.
