- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, broccoli, uncooked rice, chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a healthier option, you can use brown rice instead of white rice.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
