- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 package (17.3 oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent.
- Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Add the cooked chicken, carrots, peas, and potatoes to the mixture. Stir to combine.
- Roll out the puff pastry and place it over the filling in a baking dish. Cut slits in the pastry to allow steam to escape.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

- Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or green beans.
- For a richer flavor, use homemade chicken broth.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
