  • 1 cup potatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 package (17.3 oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent.
  3. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
  4. Gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Add the cooked chicken, carrots, peas, and potatoes to the mixture. Stir to combine.
  6. Roll out the puff pastry and place it over the filling in a baking dish. Cut slits in the pastry to allow steam to escape.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
