- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce
- 1 package chocolate wafer cookies
- 1/2 cup chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to whip until stiff peaks form.
- Spread a layer of chocolate fudge sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish.
- Layer chocolate wafer cookies over the fudge sauce, covering the bottom completely.
- Spread a layer of the whipped cream mixture over the cookies.
- Repeat the layers, alternating between fudge sauce, cookies, and whipped cream until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate fudge sauce.
- Make sure to let the cake chill for the full time for best results.
