- 1 package puff pastry
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (like thyme or rosemary)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- In a bowl, mix the sausage meat with mustard, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Cut the pastry into rectangles and place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on each.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
