Description

Cinnamon Pecan Sticky Buns are a delightful treat that combines the rich flavors of cinnamon and pecans in a soft, gooey bun, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, egg, and flour; mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough and spread with butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon, brown sugar, and pecans.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  7. Place the slices in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg.
