Description

  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg together until smooth.
  2. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt butter or oil.
  3. Dip each slice of bread in the custard mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  4. Cook the soaked bread on the skillet for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to make the glaze.
  6. Remove the French toast and drizzle with the creamy glaze before serving.
