Description

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or provolone)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the sliced onions and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onions are soft and caramelized.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
