Description

A delicious and savory appetizer featuring mushrooms stuffed with a flavorful crab mixture.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a bowl, mix together crab meat, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, green onions, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each mushroom cap with the crab mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add some red pepper flakes to the stuffing.
  • These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
  • Feel free to substitute the crab meat with shrimp or lobster for a different flavor.
