Ingredients

  • 2 celery stalks, diced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned.
  3. Add the onion, carrots, and celery, and sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in the wild rice, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
