Description

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the diced chicken, cooking until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes.
  3. Add Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic, allowing it to sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Create the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream along with lemon juice and zest. Stir to combine.

Notes

Feel free to replace heavy cream with half-and-half or Greek yogurt for a lighter version. To make it vegan, substitute chicken with tofu or chickpeas and use non-dairy cream.
