- 12 oz egg noodles
- 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked noodles and frozen peas to the mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or bell peppers for extra flavor.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- For a healthier version, use whole wheat noodles and low-fat cheese.
