- 1 lb salmon fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the Bang Bang sauce.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each salmon piece first in flour, then in egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the salmon bites in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with the Bang Bang sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For extra crunch, you can double coat the salmon bites by repeating the egg and breadcrumb steps.
- Adjust the spiciness of the sauce by adding more or less sriracha.
- These bites can be baked instead of fried for a healthier option.
