- 1 package phyllo dough
- 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1–2 tsp red pepper flakes (to taste)
- 1/4 cup olive oil (for brushing)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the crumbled feta cheese, honey, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough and brush it lightly with olive oil.
- Place another sheet of phyllo on top and brush with more olive oil.
- Cut the phyllo into strips and place a spoonful of the feta mixture at one end of each strip.
- Roll the phyllo over the filling, folding in the sides to seal, and place on a baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Drizzle with additional hot honey before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add herbs like oregano or thyme to the feta mixture.
- Serve with a side of marinara or yogurt dip for added taste.
- These rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
