Description

Irresistible mozzarella sticks infused with the bold flavors of Nashville hot chicken, offering a crunchy exterior and gooey cheese center.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp Nashville Hot Chicken Seasoning
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil
  • Hot Sauce (for drizzling)
  • Fresh Parsley (Optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Slice the cheese into thick sticks about an inch wide.
  2. Prepare your coating station with three shallow bowls: one for seasoned flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for panko breadcrumbs mixed with Nashville hot seasoning.
  3. Coat each mozzarella stick first in flour, then dip into the eggs, and finally roll in the panko mixture.
  4. Freeze the coated sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet for about 30 minutes.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the sticks in batches for about 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer to paper towels to absorb excess oil and drizzle with hot sauce before serving.

Notes

These mozzarella sticks can be made ahead and frozen for up to three months. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
