Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each salmon piece in flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat or place the nuggets on a baking sheet if baking.
  5. Fry the nuggets for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown, or bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
