Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • Sliced provolone cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Add sliced onions and minced garlic on top of the roast.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together beef broth, water, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then pour over the beef.
