Description
A delicious and easy-to-make meatloaf infused with the rich flavors of French onion soup and topped with melted Swiss cheese, cooked to perfection in a crockpot.

- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup French onion soup
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces Swiss cheese, sliced
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, French onion soup, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and shape into a loaf.
- Place the meatloaf in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, place the Swiss cheese slices on top of the meatloaf to melt.
- Once cooked, remove from the crockpot and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can sauté some onions and add them to the meat mixture.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
