Description

A simple and delicious Crockpot Ziti recipe that is perfect for a family dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta with marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer half of the pasta mixture in the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the pasta.
  5. Add the remaining pasta mixture on top and finish with the remaining cheese.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • For a meatier version, add cooked ground beef or sausage.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
