- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, melted butter, and salt until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes, until set but not dry.
- In another bowl, combine raspberries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract to prepare the filling.
- Once the crust is baked, distribute the raspberry mixture evenly over it and bake for another 20-25 minutes until the filling bubbles.
- Melt the dark chocolate chips and drizzle over the baked raspberry layer.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute with gluten-free flour. You can also use frozen raspberries, adjusting cornstarch if necessary.
