A festive and creative twist on traditional deviled eggs, shaped like Christmas trees and decorated with colorful toppings.

- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green food coloring (optional)
- Chopped parsley or dill for decoration
- Cherry tomatoes for ornaments
- Small pieces of bell pepper for garland
Instructions
- Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water, bringing it to a boil, then covering and letting sit for 12 minutes.
- Cool the eggs in ice water, then peel and slice them in half lengthwise.
- Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- If desired, add green food coloring to the yolk mixture to achieve a festive green color.
- Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture, forming a tree shape by stacking the halves slightly offset.
- Decorate the trees with chopped parsley or dill for the branches, cherry tomatoes for ornaments, and bell pepper pieces for garland.
- Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, consider adding a dash of hot sauce to the yolk mixture.
- These can be made a day in advance for convenience.
