Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 2 tablespoons gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine gochugaru, gochujang, soy sauce, rice wine, sugar, garlic, and ginger. Stir until smooth.
  2. Add the chicken to the marinade and coat well. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet, spreading it out evenly. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, flipping occasionally until golden brown and fully cooked.
  5. Optional: For a charred effect, broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes in the oven.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions and serve.

Notes

Allowing the chicken to marinate longer enhances the flavor. Serve with steamed rice or in lettuce wraps for a delicious meal.
