Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 2 tablespoons gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice wine
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine gochugaru, gochujang, soy sauce, rice wine, sugar, garlic, and ginger. Stir until smooth.
- Add the chicken to the marinade and coat well. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated chicken to the skillet, spreading it out evenly. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, flipping occasionally until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Optional: For a charred effect, broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes in the oven.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions and serve.
Notes
Allowing the chicken to marinate longer enhances the flavor. Serve with steamed rice or in lettuce wraps for a delicious meal.
