- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the milk until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into rounds.
- Place half of the rounds on a baking sheet and top each with sliced roast beef and cheese.
- Cover with the remaining rounds and seal the edges.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder; heat until warm.
- Serve the biscuits warm with the au jus for dipping.
