  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the granulated sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the brewed coffee, until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the brownies cool completely before frosting.
  9. To make the frosting, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and instant coffee granules until smooth.
  10. Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies and cut into squares to serve.
