Description
A mouthwatering ribeye steak seared to perfection, drenched in a rich garlic butter and Parmesan cream sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces ribeye steaks (About 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter until bubbly.
- Sear the steaks undisturbed for 4-5 minutes until a brown crust forms.
- Flip the steaks and add the remaining butter and minced garlic, cooking for another 4-5 minutes.
- Rest the steaks on a plate for 5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
- Make the sauce by lowering the heat and whisking in heavy cream, scraping browned bits from the skillet.
- Add Parmesan cheese and whisk until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes. Adjust seasoning as necessary.
- Plate the sliced steaks, drizzle with cream sauce, and garnish with parsley.
