- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, evaporated milk, and butter. Cook over medium heat until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Add the shredded coconut and chopped pecans to the mixture, stirring until evenly distributed.
- Pour the filling into the pre-made pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set.
