Gingerbread Latte Mousse Domes are a delightful dessert that combines the flavors of gingerbread and coffee in a creamy mousse form, perfect for the holiday season.

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup gingerbread cookies, crushed
- Chocolate for coating (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine brewed coffee, sugar, and spices over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and stir in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the coffee mixture into the whipped cream until well combined.
- In silicone dome molds, layer crushed gingerbread cookies at the bottom.
- Pour the mousse mixture over the cookies, filling the molds.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- If desired, melt chocolate and coat the outside of the mousse domes before serving.
- Unmold and serve chilled, garnished with whipped cream or additional crushed cookies.
Notes
- For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso instead of brewed coffee.
- Ensure the gelatin is fully dissolved to avoid lumps in the mousse.
- These domes can be made a day in advance for convenience.
