- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
- Add pepperoni, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet; stir to combine.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of the meat sauce mixture on the bottom.
- Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and a layer of meat sauce.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, remaining meat sauce, and the rest of the mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite pizza toppings.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
- For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with vegetables or meat alternatives.
