Description

A delicious blend of grilled chicken, fresh vegetables, and creamy tzatziki wrapped in warm pita bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 pita breads or flatbreads

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken breasts to the bowl, ensuring they are well coated. Let them soak for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Grill the Chicken: Preheat your grill to medium heat and grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side.
  4. Prepare the Vegetables: Chop your cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion while the chicken grills.
  5. Slice the Chicken: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest, then slice into strips.
  6. Warm the Pitas: Lightly warm the pita or flatbreads on the grill for about a minute.
  7. Assemble the Wraps: On each warm pita, layer the chicken strips, halved cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, red onion, tzatziki, and feta cheese.
  8. Wrap and Serve: Fold up your wrap and serve immediately.
